Results: The total number of lung cancer cases was 1251 (male 911, female 340). Lung cancer is the leading one in Baotou . The average incidence age was 62. High-risk group is 45-75, who occupied 83.13% in the total of lung cancer cases. Intermediate-stage and advanced-stage cases occupied 94.6%. The metastasis occupied 52.8% in the first- time diagnosed cases. Conclusion: Lung cancer is the leading one in Baotou. It should be the major issue in prevention and contro1 of cancer.
