Methods pathologically or clinically confirmed 30 cases of high-grade glioma patients with brain metastases . by the United States, GE Signa EXCITE HD 3.0T superconducting MR scanner in all patients with brain scans and conventional MRl voxel 144 ms two-dimensional multi-sequence scan. Functool package by post-processing, the tumor area were measured and tumor peripheral region and the contralateral corresponding area of the choline / creatine (Cho / Cr), choline / N - acetyl aspartate (Cho / NAA), N - acetyl aspartate / creatine (NAA / Cr) ratio of the change, and the results were statistically analyzed using SPSS13.0 package. Results of high-grade gliomas and metastatic tumors tumor area Cho / NAA values was statistically significant difference (P lt;0.05), and Cho / Cr, NAA / Cr values were no statistically significant difference (Pgt; 0.05); peritumoral area Cho / Cr, Cho / NAA values was statistically significant difference (P lt;0.05), NAA / Cr was no difference between the value of statistically significant (Pgt; 0.05). Conclusion 1H-MRS in the differential diagnosis of high grade gliomas and metastatic tumors has important value, areas of peritumoral Cho / Cr, Cho / NAA values and the inspection is to identify glioma an important means of metastases, especially for single brain metastases more identification significance.
