A primary school in Baotou City the status of ADHD

[Abstract] Objective: a primary school in the City by students in the survey, the school students to understand the prevalence of ADHD. Methods: The Conners ADHD Rating Scale (including the Conners parent scale and a simplified version of the Conners Teacher Scale Baotou City, a primary school students in evaluation, data analysis software package using SPSS11.5. Results: The detection rate of ADHD children, 6.37%, boys (9.88% higher than girls (3.6%, the difference was statistically significant, examination of different grades the rate difference was statistically significant, but no regular change with the grades, 5,6-grade detection rate was significantly reduced. behavioral problems of the factor scores compared with the Chinese Urban consistent results. Conclusion: The prevalence of ADHD and behavior problem scores were all factors in the domestic average.

Abstract Objective: To investigate the status of ADHD in the children from a primary school in Baotou with questionnaires. Methods: Conners Hyperactiveity Scale (including Conners Parent Scale and Conners Teacher Scale Starter Edition) was used to examine the pupils in ADHD from a primary school and an data analysis was made as well with SPSS11.5 (soft ware package). Results: The detection rate of ADHD in children was 6.40%, significantly higher in boy pupils (9.93%) than in girl pupils (3.58%). There was significant difference in the detection rate among different grades, but no regular changes in detection rate with difference in the grade. The detection rate was remarkably lower in grade 5 and grade 6. Factor score in behaviour broblem roughly corresponed with norm comparison results of other cities in China.
