Methods Rats were randomly divided into normal group, model group, high dose group Tongbi side, Tongbi prescription dose group, low dose group Tongbi side, Tripterygium glycosides tablet group, n = 10, in addition to the normal group, the rest of the group with complete Freund adjuvant induced arthritis, rats were observed in synovium of joint, joint cavity, soft tissue inflammation and other pathological changes in the situation, a comprehensive disease score. Results Compared with model group, pain Bi side of high, medium dose group and the film group TWP pathological changes in rat ankle joints were significantly reduced (P lt;0.05 or P lt;0.01). Conclusion Tongbi side inhibit the pathological changes of rheumatoid arthritis role. Methods Rats were randomly divided into six groups: normal control group, model control group, three Tongbi Prescription treated group (respectively with high-, mid- and low-dosages), Tripterygium glycosides treated group (each n = 10). Except for the rats of normal control group, the others were injected with Freund’s complete adjuvant. The pathomorphological changes of ankles of each group were measured. Results The pathomorphological changes of high-and mid-dosages Tongbi Prescription treated group and Tripterygium glycosides treated group were lightened than those of model control group obviously (P lt;0.05 or P lt;0.01).
