[Methods] The combination of electro-acupuncture points of oral artesunate, and the control group with simple medication. [Results] The acupuncture group was 95.18% effective. Control group, 86.84%, both significant differences. [Conclusion] The electro-acupuncture plus drug treatment more effective than pure malaria headache medication. [Method] Take electro  acupoint acupuncture and moxibustion combined with oral taking artesunate, compared with that purely taking medicine. [Result] The total effective rate was 95.18 % for acupuncture group, with marked difference from control group. [Conclusion] Electro  acupuncture and medication has better effect on malaria  induced headache than pure medicine.
