Methods January 2005 to December 2008 were randomly selected fibrin glue treatment of 36 patients and 42 controls were patients. By comparing the time of intraoperative bleeding, postoperative drainage and drainage time, bile leakage case, length of stay five indicators to illustrate its effectiveness. Results In addition to bile leakage, the treatment group and no significant difference between the control group . Conclusion LC acute inflammation of fibrin glue can effectively reduce bleeding and leakage of the wound, and shorten hospital stay, reduce hospital costs. [Keywords:] fibrin glue; acute cholecystitis; laparoscopic cholecystectomy [Abstract] Objective To evaluate the clinical value of biomedical fibrin sealant in reducing the leakage during acute laparoscopic cholecystectomy.Methods 36 cases were for biomedical fibrin sealant and 42 cases were compared from Jan.2005 ~ Dec.2008.Comparing the prevention time of bleeding during operation, drainge, drainge time, bile leakage postoperatively and patients time in the hospital, it showed that biomedical fibrin sealant was effective.Results Except the bile leakage, there were no difference between the two groups.Conclusion Biomedical fibrin sealant can be applied in reducing the fistule or bleeding with good results.Thus it leads to significant reduction of patient’s time and money in the hospital.
