Method of reproduction IL  1β -induced fever in New Zealand rabbit model to observe the antipyretic effect of honeysuckle and the application of extracellular microelectrode recording technique to observe discharge honeysuckle right under the action of IL  1β temperature-sensitive neurons in POAH frequencies. The results of honeysuckle on the IL  1β -induced fever has antipyretic effect; honeysuckle could increase under the action of IL  1β thermal discharge rate of neurons, while the reduction of IL  1β under the action of cold sensitive neurons in the frequency. Conclusion IL  1β caused a reversal of temperature-sensitive neurons in the frequency of changes, it may be honeysuckle antipyretic effect from one of the mechanisms.
