MethodsEffective dosage was decided with acute toxicity experiment. As major symptoms of chronic bronchitis, cough and asthma were studied on TFR with experiments of mice and Guinea pigs with ammonia and histamine, respectively.ResultsTFR (0.064,0.038 g / kg) had obvious antitussive, antiasthmatic effects on mice and guinea pigs with ammonia and histamine, respectively. And Rhododendron simsii Planch extracts, total flavanoid had different degree of toxicity reactions to laboratory animal. ConclusionToxicity of TFR shouldn’t be neglected when it has effects.
