Methods May 2003 ~ March 2008 Surgical treatment of humeral condylar fracture of 32 cases, AO / ASIF classification: C1-type 7 cases, C2-type 19 cases, C3 6 cases. Results 32 patients were followed up for 6 to 36 months, the fractures healed. Cassebaum method according to score, excellent in 17 cases, good in 10 cases, 5 cases; good rate was 84.4%. Conclusion AO reconstruction plate double between humeral fracture is the treatment of humeral condylar fracture of the better way is conducive to an early elbow movement to restore elbow function. [Keywords:] humeral fractures; internal fixation; elbow Abstract: Objective To study the effects of AO double plates in internal fixation of humeral intercondylar fractures.Methods From May.2003 to Mar.2008, 32 cases of humeral intercondylar fractures were reviewed.According to AO / ASIF classification, type C1 in 7 cases , type C2 in 19 cases, and type C3 in 6 cases.Posterior operating approach of elbow: trans olecranon osteotomy or trans triceps approach and internal fixation by standard method of AO double plates were performed in all cases.The patients began the active training of elbow joint as soon as possible postoperatively.Results All cases were followed up for 6 36 months.Bone union was obtained in all cases.According to the Cassebaum scoring system, the effects were evaluated as excellent in 17 cases, good 10, and fair 5 , and the excellent and good rate was 84.4%.
