Results All operations were successfully completed, the blood loss of about 2 ~ 5ml, without laryngeal nerve, recurrent laryngeal nerve or parathyroid injury and other complications occurred. Conclusions ultrasonic scalpel entirely outside the thyroid capsule subtotal resection can reduce the difficulty of operation and shorten the operation time with small incision, not cut off anterior muscles, less blood loss, simple, less complications and is worthy of promotion.
