[Method] 1998 to 2006, treated 12 cases of separation of the entire distal humeral epiphysis in children, according to Delee typing: A type 2 cases, B-4 cases, C-type in 6 cases, the time between injury and surgery, 4 cases within 12 h , 24 h within the 3 cases, 24 ~ 72 h 5 patients underwent open reduction and Kirschner wire fixation, after film review, 3 ~ 6 weeks removal of Kirschner wire-line functional exercise. [Results] 12 patients in this group were followed up for 6 months to 8 years, an average of 37 months, fracture healing time of 3 ~ 6 weeks, an average of 4.6 weeks; risk of elbow flexion and extension activities, a good, no 1 case of cubitus varus. [Conclusion] The surgical treatment of children with open reduction and internal fixation of distal humeral epiphyseal separation of the whole can be anatomic reduction, prevention of cubitus varus, maximize recovery limb function.
