METHODS: With informed consent, 3 normal liver graft tissues and 12 liver tissues with post HCV inflammatory cirrhosis were obtained during operation. The cirrhotic liver tissues were divided into 2 groups: α 3 and α M group, in which 8 patients were at Child A class, 2 at class B and 2 at class C. Immunohistochemistry was used to compare the expression levels and locations of α 3 with those of α M. RESULTS: No α 3 and α M positive cells were found in normal liver tissues.
