Methods: A retrospective analysis of 25 cases of clinical data of patients with duodenal injury and five cases of diverticulum of Cogbill modified further simplifying the procedure of the surgery. Results: 25 patients, only five cases of preoperative diagnosis, intraoperative diagnosis in 15 cases, intraoperative misdiagnosis, postoperative diagnosis of 5 cases, misdiagnosis rate of 20%, 4 deaths, 21 cases cured, the cure rate 84%. Early diagnosis of duodenal injury and early and timely surgery is very important. Conclusion: The complexity of the condition of duodenal injury there is not a good specificity of inspection, to tackle the problem. Duodenal repair, duodenum, jejunum Roux-en-Y anastomosis and Cogbill modified diverticulum of further simplifying the surgical procedure is a practical method for treatment of duodenal injury.
