Methods 40 male rats were randomly divided into normal group, model group, days moxibustion group and electro-acupuncture group. With ovalbumin (OVA) to prepare sensitized asthmatic rats. ELISA assay of serum IL  4, IL  6, and IgE. Results The levels of serum IL  4, IL  6, and IgE is higher than the normal group (P lt;0.01), after treatment both reduced and moxibustion group of the most significant days. The serum IL  4, IL  6 and IgE were examined by ELISA method.ResultsThe serum IL-4, IL  6 and IgE of the model group was obviously higher than that of the normal group (P lt;0.01), and their contents were reduced by treatment, especially Tianjiu  treated group.ConclusionOccurrance of asthma is related to abnormality of serum IL  4, IL  6 and IgE.
