In this paper, self-made 3  methyl  2  (3  phenethyl amide  4  thio-benzenesulfonyl  2  β  C  1  base lactam)  3  D acid methoxy-benzyl ester as raw materials, using electrolysis to afford the target product. By elemental analysis, IR characterization of its structure and content was determined by HPLC. The results show that this synthesis of GCLE process is simple, high yield. This paper describes the procedure of chlorinated  β  lactam dervative (p  methoxybenzyl 2  (3  phenylacetamido  4  phenylsulfonylthio  2  β  lactam  2  en  1  yl)  3  chloromethyl  3  butenoate with β  lactam dervative p  methoxybenzyl 2  (3  phenylacetamido  4  phenylsulfonylthio  2  β  lactam  2  en  1  yl)  3  methyl  3  butenoate via electrolysis. The product was characterized by IR and elemental analysis and assayed by HPLC. The preparation procedure is efficient and with high yields.
