 PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 11 Echocardiography after PCI ST-segment elevation acute coronary syndrome evaluation of the degree of recovery of left ventricular damage [Abstract] Objective Evaluation of echocardiography to quantify percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) after ST-segment elevation acute coronary syndrome (STEACS) systolic function in patients with left ventricular structure and extent of the damage recovery. Methods by coronary angiography (CAG) confirmed the presence of coronary artery stenosis or occlusion and accept the STEACS PCI, 20 patients, comparing postoperative and preoperative echocardiographic parameters, and ultrasonographic signs of change, indicators include the septum (IVS) and left ventricular posterior wall (LVPW ) thickness, left ventricular end diastolic dimension (LVDd) and end systolic diameter (LVDs), left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) and left ventricular fractional shortening (FS), left ventricular end-diastolic volume (LVVd) and end systolic Capacity (LVVs), ultrasonographic signs, including left ventricular aneurysm and mural thrombosis. Results (1) after PCI in 20 patients with preoperative echocardiographic indices compared: LVEF, FS significantly improved after surgery (P lt;0.01 ), LVVd significantly increased after surgery (P lt;0.05). (2) preoperative infarct extension in 4 cases (20%), postoperative aneurysm formation in 1 case (5%), preoperative left ventricular thrombus , postoperative 1 (5%). Conclusions PCI significantly improved left ventricular function after left ventricular diastolic volume increases, the picture shows the evaluation of echocardiographic left ventricular damage in patients with PCI after STEACS provides quantitative indicators of the degree of recovery.
