【Abstract】 Objective To prevent disputes in the management of nurses and patients to reduce the occurrence of nurse-patient disputes. Analyze and summarize the emergency department nurses and patients because a dispute has arisen, take appropriate preventive management practices nurse-patient disputes. The results of the legal consciousness of nurses, nurse-patient disputes, enhance awareness of prevention and care for patients reduced the incidence of disputes. Conclusion nurse-patient disputes prevention and control method is feasible, and in clinical nursing care plays an important role.

Nurse-patient disputes as part of the medical dispute is defined as the clinical treatment process, primarily by nurses and patients and their families all sorts of conflicts that occurred [1]. Window of a hospital emergency department is the first line of saving lives, which of the following three kinds of practical problems: First, patients with acute disease acute danger, heavy, difficult, complex, changing fast, high fatality rate [2]; Second, patients with and their families, lack of knowledge of first aid, changes in the disease difficult to understand, difficult to accept to emergencies; third, the patient’s legal awareness and advocacy to enhance sense. Was thus decided that emergency care is a high-risk work is a high incidence of nurse-patient disputes, how to reduce nurse-patient disputes, it requires each nursing managers and nurses in emergency department attention. Since 2003, our hospital emergency department of the nurse-patient analysis of the causes of the dispute and take appropriate preventive measures, and achieved good results. Are reported as follows:
