Approach to the extraction rate of polysaccharides as an indicator, by single factor and orthogonal experiment to optimize the extraction process, mainly on the factor extraction time, temperature and frequency. Results ultrasonic heat reflux extraction of polysaccharide Dendrobium whip optimum conditions: temperature 95 , time 16 min, extracted 4 times, using this technology polysaccharides extracted from Dendrobium whip was (18.64 + -0.396%, significantly higher than that of conventional thermal reflow The extraction rate method. The yield of polysaccharide was used to evaluate the factor levels.ResultsThe optimum conditions were determined as follows: ultrasonic-irradiation 16 min at 95 and extraction four times. The extraction rate of polysaccharide reached (18.64 + -0.40 % by using the method, which was much better than hot reflux extraction method. ConclusionThat the method is simple with high accuracy, good stability and reproducibility, and can be used to extract polysaccharide from D.fimbriatum Hook.var.oculatum Hook.
