[Method] 19 patients with soft tissue sarcoma patients receiving radical fast neutron and photon radiation therapy (radical radiotherapy), 36 cases of postoperative radiotherapy (postoperative radiotherapy group). Photon radiation dose of 40 ~ 50Gy, fast neutron irradiation dose of 8 ~ 12 Gy. [Results] radiotherapy after radical radiotherapy 3 years, 5 years, 8-year survival rates were 47.4%, 36.8% and 26.3%; postoperative radiotherapy group were 86.1%, 69.6% and 27.3% respectively. In all patients after radiotherapy were not serious complications. [Conclusion] The fast neutron radiotherapy for the treatment of postoperative soft tissue sarcoma of the effective means. [Methods] Nineteen cases with soft tissue sarcoma underwent radical radiotherapy combined fast neutron with photon (radical radiotherapy group). Thirty, six cases underwent postoperative radiation (postoperative radiation group). The radiation dose of photon was 40 ~ 50Gy, and the dose of fast neutron was 8 ~ 12Gy. [Results] The 3,, 5, and 8, year survival rates were 47.4%, 36.8% and 26.3%, respectively in radical radiotherapy group, and were 86.1%, 69.6% and 27.3%, in postoperative radiation group respectively. No severe complication occurred in all patients. [Conclusion] Fast neutron of postoperative radiotherapy is an effective method for soft tissue sarcoma.
