Methods A randomized controlled the principle of 68 patients with knee osteoarthritis as early as mid-term patients were divided into treatment group and control group were given chase Wind Speranskia Celebrex pills and therapy, 4 weeks for a course of treatment, observed after 2 courses of knee osteoarthritis (OA) severity index (ISOA), and clinical efficacy. Results The total effective rate between the two groups, Herd Toukuwan total effective rate was 88.89%, Celebrex total effective rate was 90.62%, difference between two groups was not significant (Pgt; 0.05); joint function scores before and after treatment itself was significant difference (P lt;0.01 ), the difference between groups was not significant (Pgt; 0.05). Conclusion Herd Toukuwan can significantly ease the early and mid-knee osteoarthritis pain and improve knee function. Methods 68 patients with early stage and mid stage knee osteoarthritis were randomized into treatment group and control group, treated with Zhuifeng Tougu pills and Celebrex respectively. One treatment course lasted for four weeks, and after treatment courses, the clinical efficacies were analyzed based upon index of severity for osteoarthritis of the knee (Knee ISOA). Results The comparison of the total effective rates in the two groups showed that, the total effective rate in the group treated with Zhuifeng Tougu pills was 88.89%, and the total effective rate in the group treated with Celebrex was 90.62%, with no significant difference in the total effective rates of the two groups (P lt;0.01 )
