[Methods] The results of 50 cervical myelopathy patients, who underwent anterior cervical decompression and applied of reforming posture, were retrospectively reviewed at a mean follow up of 2.5 years (2 ~ 4 years. [Results] Patients were also evaluated pre operatively and post operatively using a modified version of the Japanese Orthopedics Association Scale (JOA.78.4% of patients showed improvement rate, 90% of patients showed excellent to good results, and the fusion rates were 100%. [Conclusion] With reforming posture, the intervertebral space of cervical vertebra was thoroughly revealed, surgical trauma was reduced, and effectiveness was improved, the time was shortened and bone fusion was enhanced.
