Methods: The Chinese version JCQ was used to measure the Occupational strain state of the doctors and nurses randomly sampled in groups from three provincial hospitals of Baotou ( n = 519), with the reliability and validith examined as well. Results: Response rate was 96.34%. The internal consistency reliabilities (Cronbach’s @) of the 5 dimensions ranged from 0.65 to 0.87. Test-retest reliability of the 5 dimensions ranged from 0.79 to 0.85. The factor analysis confirmed the construction validity of JCQ. Conclusion: The validity and reliability of JCQ are acceptable for doctors and nurses in Baotou.
