Businesses are increasingly being encouraged to develop a presence on social networking sites such as Facebook, Linkedln and Instagram for marketing purposes. What are the advantages of marketing on these sites? Are there any drawbacks and how can they be overcome
Social media marketing is the important position in business because it appeared quickly and developed rapidly. According to Hubspot (2014) about 92% marketers think social media is signigicant situation for marketing business. It can be seen that social media shows potential for improve marketing (Carbone, 2015).
There have 6 main cause of why choose social media to expand business marketing. Firstly, social media can help company catch every opportunity to increase Brand Recognition (Carbone, 2015). This is useful to attract new customers and it also makes company more familiar than befor for old customers. For example, a new customer may be research or acquainted a new brand than before when they saw the brank in social media. Secondly, it can raise brand loyalty. According to a report the brands which has more attention in social media has higher loyalty customers (Carbone, 2015). Companies should use the social media to connecting with their customers to take advantage. For example, ConvinceConvert study found that about half of Americans are loyal to their brands who follow brands in social media. Thirdly, every company can make a blog post on a social media, every following is a opportunities to covert a new customers (Carbone, 2015). Opportunities are very significant action for marketing initiative. It could have access to company develop new customers, consolidate recent and old customers. Company can communicate with customers, maybe customers can attract more visit which means can catch every opportunities for brand (Carbone, 2015).
