Method of observing and analyzing one cases of mediastinal malignant mesothelioma of the clinical and pathological characteristics, combined with literature review of its clinical manifestations, pathological features and differential diagnosis. The results showed a two-way differentiation of malignant mesothelioma, in the spindle cell stroma with sheets, kitchen-like or epithelial cells of nested groups, immunohistochemical staining showed the tumor cells CK (), Vimenin (), Desmin (), NSE ( ), CD99 (), CEA (), MYOD1 (). Conclusion mediastinal poor prognosis of malignant mesothelioma, clinical misdiagnosed, its organizational form complex and should be mediastinal metastases, malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumors and other identification.
