The results of X-ray and proton-conformal radiation treatment planning compared to 90% of the volume of the right side of the cochlea the average dose to the posterior fossa, respectively plus 39% of the amount of wild and 1.6%, the right temporomandibular joint the average volume of 90%, respectively 26.1% and 0.4%, 50% of the dose to the heart of the average prescription dose of wild spinal cord, respectively 63.3% and 0.8%, 90% of the average thyroid volume were 72.2% and 0.5%. Conclusion conformal proton radiation therapy of medulloblastoma can significantly reduce the dose to normal tissue, is superior to X-conformal radiotherapy.
