Metabolic syndrome of insulin resistance and inflammation markers related to study

PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 7 Metabolic syndrome of insulin resistance and inflammation markers related to study [Abstract] Objective To investigate insulin resistance in patients with metabolic syndrome (insulin resistance, IR) and plasma levels of inflammation markers, and investigate the inflammatory reaction in the metabolic syndrome, insulin resistance in patients with the occurrence of role. Methods metabolic syndrome (metabolic syndrome, MS) in 31 patients, 19 males and 12 females, mean age (60.8 ± 6.2) years of age. Normal healthy controls, 20 cases were determined in plasma high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (high-sensitivity C-reactive protein, Hs-CRP), fibrinogen (fibrinogen, Fig), fasting blood glucose (fasting blood glucose, FBG), fasting serum insulin ( fasting insulin, FINS), and lipids and other indicators; calculated insulin sensitivity index (insulin sensitive index, ISI). Were compared between the fasting plasma levels of inflammatory markers in the differences; and fasting plasma high-sensitivity C-reactive protein, fibrinogen, blood lipid levels and MS parameters were associated with the ISI for analysis. Results ISI metabolic syndrome group compared with the normal control group decreased significantly (P amp;lt;0.05); of plasma high-sensitivity C-reactive protein, fibrinogen level was significantly higher (P amp;lt;0.05). Multiple linear regression indicated that: the metabolic syndrome group of high-sensitivity C-reactive protein, Fig, TG and the ISI was negatively correlated (r =- 0.429, P amp;lt;0.01; r =- 0.312, P amp;lt;0.05; r =- 0.219, P amp;lt;0.05 ). Conclusions (1) there exists an obvious metabolic syndrome of insulin resistance and plasma high-sensitivity C-reactive protein level of exception. (2) chronic inflammatory state may be one of the characteristics of metabolic syndrome. (3) The inflammatory response may be in the metabolic syndrome in patients with insulin resistance played an important role. [Keywords:] Metabolic synd
