When the dual  wavelength overlapping absorption spectrometry was used to determine the netilmicin, its apparent molar absorptivities (ε ) achieved 4.35 * 104 L / (mol * cm). The optimum reaction conditions and the chief properties of analytical chemistry were studied. The method was simple and convenient, moreover possess higher sensitivity and selectivity, it could be applied to determine the content of the netilmicin with satisfactory results.
