Methods Retrospective analysis of our department since 2003, application of multiple high-capacity expansion for treatment of 16 cases of head and a huge scar alopecia in patients with clinical data. We calculated the expanded volum and selected 300-600 ml expanders which were put under the aponeurotica gales nearby the scars. After full expansion, the expanders were taken out along with the scars excised, and the expanded skin flaps were transplanted to cover the defects.Results Twenty-one scars were effectively treated and 35 expanders were used in the 16 cases.
