As a negative life events, which allows patients and their families can have serious psychological stress, emotional reactions, and even anxiety and depression [1]. Healthy individuals once they are suspected of suffering from cancer, not only to their own state of shock, pain, disappointment, anxiety, confusion status, and even family members are also involved, and some even difficult to normal thinking, the verge of a nervous breakdown, seriously affect the treatment, rehabilitation and quality of survival . To help correct the face of this period in patients with cancer, to reduce psychological stress, calm our minds and accept the diagnosis and treatment, this study attempts humanistic care research, using qualitative research methods, inquiring patients with lung cancer diagnosed during the course of the humanities expectations, to understand the needs of patients with humane care and guide the implementation of humane care nurses. 1 Data and methods 1.1 General Information option from January 2007 to April 2008 Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine suspected patient was hospitalized and subsequently diagnosed with lung cancer, 20 patients were males and 13 cases; females in 7 cases. Age 31 to 75 years with an average (59.01 ± 0.25) years of age. Diagnosis time, 3 ~ 9d, the average (4.00 ± 0.45) d. Inclusion criteria: ① suspect was hospitalized and subsequently diagnosed with lung cancer patients; ② patients and their families want to know the diagnosis in patients; ③ aged ≥ 18 years of age; ④ elementary school and above, culture, and are willing to accept interviews; ⑤ patients with informed con
