 PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 2 PEG-interferon α2a combined with ribavirin in patients with chronic hepatitis C Clinical Observation [Abstract] Objective To investigate the PEG-interferon α  2a (Pegasys) combined with ribavirin for chronic hepatitis C (CHC) of the therapeutic effect. Methods 43 patients with CHC patients were treated with PEGASYS (180μ g / week) combined with ribavirin (900mg / d) treatment, treatment for 6 months. In the before and after treatment were used to detect the HCV genotype, alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and HCV RNA quantity. Results 43 cases of CHC patients detected only two genotypes, in order to HCV  Ⅰ type mainly (38 cases, accounting for 88.3%), HCV  Ⅱ -type rare (5 cases, accounting for 11.7%). 43 cases of CHC patients, except one cases of 12 weeks of treatment withdrawal is invalid, the other patients were HCV RNA was negative. 5 cases of patients with HCV  Ⅱ type 4 cases (80.0%) were complete response, 1 patient (20.0%) had no response; 38 cases of HCV  Ⅰ patients, 30 cases (81.6%) patients of complete response, 6 patients (15.8 %), partial response, 2 cases (5.3%) had no response.
