[Methods] since 1996 to June 2005 were treated 15 cases of femoral head fractures cases, according to Pipkin classification: Ⅰ type 3 cases, Ⅱ type 4 cases, Ⅲ in 5 cases, Ⅳ-type, 3 cases were analyzed retrospectively. [Conclusion] Pipkin’s fracture complications and complications of many treatment programs under the sub-type selection of treatment, Ⅰ-type manual reduction conservative treatment, Ⅱ-type and surgical reduction and internal fixation of type Ⅳ, Ⅲ in a better efficacy of an artificial joint replacement.
