Abstract: Objective To observe the one-year-planted in Astragalus Astragalus polysaccharide (APS1) and its relationship with ginseng total saponins (TG), when combined with human peripheral T cells (hPBTCs) of proliferation. Methods MTT colorimetric assay hPBTCs proliferation. Results APS1 in the range of 25 ~ 100μ g/ml within, TG in the range of 5 ~ 20μ g/ml in both the promotion of hPBTCs proliferation, proliferation rates were 127.8% ~ 144.6% and 113.9% ~ 163.1%, APS1 and TG in the above range of concentration When combined with proliferating percentage of 309.5% ~ 529.5%. Conclusion APS1 vitro hPBTCs significantly promote the proliferation, APS1 with the TG-MS is likely to increase immune function, and has a certain synergy.

Effect of Polysaccharide from the Annual Astragalus on the Proliferation of Human Peripheral T Lymphocytes
Abstract: ObjectiveTo study the effects of polysaccharide from the annual Astragalus (APS1) and combination with total ginsenoside (TG) on the proliferation of human peripheral T lymphocytes (hPBTCs). MethodsBy MTT colorimetric analysis, the proliferation of hPBTCs was detected. ResultsThe proliferation of hPBTCs was promoted by both APS1 (25 ~ 100 μ g / ml) and TG. (5 ~ 20 μ g / ml); the percentage of proliferation were 127.8% ~ 144.6% and 113.9% ~ 163.1%, respectively; the percent of proliferation was 309.5% ~ 529.5% while APS1 combined with TG in each concentration range. ConclusionThe APS1 can stimulate proliferation of hPBTCs in vitro and the combination of APS1 and TG can promote immune function.
