Pseudomonas aeruginosa drug resistance of 107 【Abstract】 Objective To analyze in January 2001 ~ December 2003 Pseudomonas aeruginosa hospital and drug resistance trends. Methods MicroScan WalkAway-40 type automatic microbial identification / susceptibility analysis system strain identification and drug susceptibility testing, drug resistance data analysis software used WHONET5. The results of three years, out of 107 Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolated, its activity of 12 antimicrobial agents is a good imipenem, amikacin, piperacillin / tazobactam, resistance rate was 0.9%, 5.6%, 6.5%; resistance is the higher rate of 63.6% of ceftriaxone, cefotaxime sodium 38.3%, aztreonam 25.2%. Its resistance to cefotaxime sodium in 2001 33.3 percent rate from 2003 rose 44.4% over the same period of ceftriaxone resistance rate from 48.1% to 68.9%, an increase of up to 11.1%, 20.8%. β-lactam antibiotics piperacillin resistance rates on a downward trend, from 22.2% to 15.6%. Conclusion The results showed that hospital surveillance of Pseudomonas aeruginosa to carbapenems, aminoglycosides, β-lactamase inhibitor combinations of drugs to maintain good sensitivity, but the third-generation cephalosporin resistance of the high rate of Bacterial resistance surveillance in national research group (BRSSG) 2001, 2002, the statistical results, need to strengthen the resistance rate of Pseudomonas aeruginosa in a planned way for continuous monitoring.
