Methods 40 cases of active arteritis were randomly divided into two in the combination therapy group (complex potion + conventional western medicine) and the control group ( conventional western medicine), observed after 24 weeks of treatment efficacy, and test before treatment and after treatment 4,24 weeks vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), endothelin -1 (ET-1), angiotensin Ⅱ (Ang Ⅱ), Circulating endothelial cells (CECs) and number of levels. Results of efficacy of combination therapy group than the control group, treatment group treated for 4 weeks, 24 weeks after VEGF, ET-1, Ang Ⅱ decline than the control group (P lt;0.05), After 4 weeks of treatment, decline in CECs than the control group (P lt;0.05). Conclusions of Integrative Medicine can improve the efficacy of arterial inflammation, improve endothelial injury. [Keywords:] arteritis; Qi and blood; blood detoxification; vascular endothelial injury Abstract: Objective To observe the effect of Yiqi Buxue and Huoxue Jiedu method on vascular endothelial injury in patients with Takayasu’s arteritis. Methods Forty patients with active Takayasu’s arteritis were divided into combined treatment group (treated with traditional Chinese medicine Fumaiyin and western medicine) and control group (treated with western medicine). Before treatment and after 4, 24 week’s treatment, clinical effect was observed and the levels and quantity of VEGF, ET-1, Ang Ⅱ and CECs were detected and compared. Results The combined treatment group showed a better clinical effect than control group. The serum VEGF, ET-1, Ang Ⅱ levels of treatment group were significantly decreased compared with control group after 4, 24 week’s treatment (P lt;0.05). The quantity of CECs of combined treatm
