This study by measuring the normal glucose tolerance in type 2 diabetic first degree relatives of serum leptin levels, analyzing the relationship between leptin and IR. An object and methods 1  1 object In the hospital outpatient and hospitalized patients with type 2 diabetes with normal glucose tolerance select one relatives (offspring or fellow) 56 people (male 33, female 23) to observe the object, and age (40.5 ± 8.0) years of age, body mass index (BMI) of (24.5 ± 1.2) kg/m2, physical examination in our hospital out-patient population selected 60 people without diabetes, family history of an individual (male 34, female 26) as normal controls, aged (39.2 ± 7.5) years of age , BMI (24.2 ± 2.2) kg / m2. All of the subjects by the oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) confirmed that with normal glucose tolerance, without hypertension, coronary heart disease and liver and kidney disease, non-smoking and taking drugs that affect glucose metabolism in the history. 1  2 Method All subjects were fasting 12?
