Methods Using stratified random sampling method, application WHOQOL BREF scale, in Hunan, Hubei, Chongqing, and Guizhou Frontier 1 456 QOL for the elderly left behind in rural household survey. Results Ageing QOL score system, the physical domain, psychological domain, social relationship and environmental domains scores were: 10.3 + -3.1,11.7 + -2.9,11.5 + -2.1,11.4 + -2.4, multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that: self-care ability and age, home life, frequency of self-care ability and their children, family harmony and age, income and children back home were affecting the frequency of the field of rural elderly people physical, psychological , the field of social relations and the environment an important factor in QOL score (P lt;0.05. Conclusions of Hunan, Hubei, Chongqing, and Guizhou border QOL score low Rural elderly left behind, improve living standards and the elderly left behind to protect their health may have help improve the elderly stay QOL.
