普通高中课程标准实验教科书英语选修6教学设计 Unit 4 Global warming---New words Backgroud information: Therere 57 students in the class.Teaching time is 9:40---11:10 on Nov.29. Teaching aims : To learn the new words and expressions. make sure the students understand the new words and can use them flexibly. To learn to express their own opinion about global warming. The key points of teaching: How to make the students to understand some useful phrases and words. Let the students understand the new words and remember them in mind. The difficult points of teaching: Some specialized words , their different forms and difficult phrases for them to understand. Language contents and skills: Teaching process: Guide students to learn new words and pronounce each new words. Explain the words different usages and forms. Warm-up 1.Listen to the THREE LITTLE PIGS song . Boys and girls ,let’s enjoy a song .(Open the screen) 2. The chant .(Ss read the chant with the action) II Revision Duty report :Boys and girls ,who is on the duty today . Free talk 教师问:What do you like ?Do you like…?What’s your favourite food ?让学生分别说到自己特别喜欢的食物时,老师表现出非常喜欢的样子,说:Me,too .Is it your favourite …etc.(至少十几个学生) III New lesson Revise the verbs .(Open the Powerpoint) Boys and girls ,let’s play a game .One student stands face to the board ,the other student stands back to the board .When T say : START the one face the board play ,the other one guess the verb of the action . Learn the new words and the new sentences 利用大屏幕和教师的动作,呈现所学的短语。 Pronunciation 2)Repeat after the teacher 3) Ss read (师纠正错误) 4) presentation 教师问同学们:What do you do at home ?Can you do the things like this ?If you can ,please hands up .教师找学生回答I’m doing the dishes .重复上述活动直到学生能根据语感答出老师的问句。然后教师作动作请学生问。强调此句型,用于目前正在作的事情。 5)Practice in pairs 分组练习,师巡回指导。 6)Act it out 表演比赛 IV Let’s chant 1 Listen to the tape 2 Repeat (解决了难点,学习这个chant 就比较容易了) 同时,教师与学生加动作表演朗读。选出完成最好的个人,授予“最佳模仿秀”的称号。 V Sum up 教师和学生一起总结本课 VI Learn the song 先听一遍,解释重点词Speak to 跟唱(音乐
