Introduce the task: Decide on a menu for French Consulate General, Mr. Kong Song-long. Task Cycle: I. Gather general information from passages Skimming – Who is the writer of the passage, a westerner or a Chinese? Is he/she writing about Chinese food or western food? Predicting – What might the writer write about in each passage? Ask questions and grade them. (ONLY the counterpart of the other group can answer.) II.
