Unless the agency other than the student himselfcertifiestheworthoftheendofa givencourse. workshop on evaluation methodology was designed at Government MedicalCollege,Bhavnagar.Theworkshop comprisedofsixmodulesnamely:Mechanics ofPapersetting,MCQformulationItem analysis, Mini CEX, OSPE, OSCE and StructuredViva.Studywascarriedoutwith aimtofindouteffectivenessofworkshopin changing knowledge and attitude towards differentevaluationmethodology. Evaluation system in Gujarat Method: traditionally consists of the written papers, practicalexaminationandvivavoce.Inrecent era of objective evaluation, main format remainsessentiallyunalteredbutchangeshas tobemade,mainlytomakeexaminationmore objectiveandreliable.Alljuniorandsenior teachersneedtobetrainedinthiswayto decreasessubjectivityinevaluationofmedical students.
