The birthplace of this cuisine is ancient country now in Sichuan named Bashu. It developed rapidly in Tang and Song dynasty and became really famous in Ming and Qing dynasty. Up to now, we can find Sichuan cuisine restaurant all over the world . it has already become the most extensive cuisine among Chinas eight regional cuisines. We can find many records about Sichuan cuisine in History books .    The characteristics of Sichuan cuisine Sichuan cuisine is famous for its various flavors. In general, it has a strong flavor. Dried chili, Pepper, Garlic, Ginger, Scallions, Bean sauce, we use many spices to cook delicious. Dried chili干辣椒 Pepper胡椒 Garlic大蒜 Ginger生姜 Scallions葱 Bean sauce豆瓣酱 Sichuan cuisine is a complete system of flavor that consists of common food, home cooking and hot pot feast, medicinal food feast, Buddhist feast, a flavor snack feast an so on.
