THE LITTLE PRINCE Antoine de Saint-Exupéry （安东尼·德·圣-埃克苏佩里） 卫管1401班 黄娜萍 U201413159 Novel Content Part one: The Little Prince tells the story both beautiful and sad: a pilot, I land on the Sahara Desert due to the breakdown of the plane .At this very moment ,a attractive and sad little boy appears, and strongly asks me to draw a “sheep”for him. Part two: He is just the Little Prince, nice but sad, comes from Asteroid B-612 , loves to ask questions but seldom answers questions of others. By chatting,I reveal the secrets of him. He was quarreled with his own beautiful but too proud Rose and finally went away . Part three: He began visiting the Asteroids around, to keep himself busy and to learn something. Respectively,he visited a King, a very vain man,a drunkard, a businessman, even to a lamplighter and a geographer.Ultimately he fell to the earth,starting his life with a fox and I.In the end of the novel, the little prince went back his own Asteroid. Method Of Writing Symbolic technique(象征手法) In the story,the author creatives a large number of images.The most obvious one is the hero of the novel,the little prince,who represents a genuine ,innocent sort. The Significance The Loss Of Childishness: This novels chief purpose is to let adults restore their childishness .Like he said:All grown-ups were children first. The sadness of adults: With the development of the whole society,adults become not only materialize but also offish.Finally,they will be numb,forfeiting the purity of human.The sadness and lonely will mask the sunshine of love. love For love,love is very simple as long as it fit with our souls.Because of this leave,the little prince gets the responsibility which is beyond love,just the responsibility of love.If you love someone ,the one thing you need to do is to be responsible for him/her all you life. my favorite sentence If someone loves a flower of which just one example exists among all the millions and millions
