Most scholars believe that blood -activating and stasis-resolving medicine , especially expelling blood circulation drugs , is effective to treat malignant tumor , while some scholars believe that the application of such drugs will promote tumor metastasis and diffusion. These drugs may have a positive or negative effect on cancer invasion and metastasis. lt makes them more controversial. Through pharmacologi- cal experiment and clinical observation , blood-activating and stasis-resolving medicine conforms to differential diagnosis and treatment of TCM in treating malignant tumor. These drugs are essential in the prevention and treatment of cancer. To make blood-activating and stasis-resolving medicine produce anti-tumor invasion and metastasis , the key factors are discerning the na ture and location of tumor , choosing the right breed , taking appropriate compatibility and selecting appropriate time according to TCM.
