Aconsumersatisfactionstudywasconductedtoexaminethee?ectivenessonhangoverofAfter-E?ect dedicatedtoimprovewell-beingafteranoccasionofalcoholconsumption.N =113personswereinvitedtoparticipateinahome- basedopenlabelstudytotestthee?ectivenessofAfter-E?ect .Onanightwhentheyintendedtoconsumealcohol,threepillswere ? ,anewfoodsupplement ? takenbeforealcoholconsumptionandtwopillsafterwards,beforegoingtobed.Thefollowingday,participantscompletedasurvey ontheamountofalcoholconsumed,hangoversymptomseverity,andsatisfactionoftheproduct.N =103participantscompleted the study. 88% of participants reported After-E?ect to be e?ective in reducing alcohol hangover. After-E?ect signi?cantly ? ? improved overall hangoverseverity, and all individual hangoversymptoms,except for palpitations. In addition, a signi?cant reduction(P=0.0001)intheseverityscoreonconcentrationproblemswasreportedwhenusingAfter-E?ect .Nogenderdi?er- enceswereobserved,andtherewasnorelationshipwiththenumberofalcoholicdrinksthatwereconsumed.Consumerswere ? satis?edwiththeproduct.Inconclusion,consumersatisfactionandhangoverseverityscoressuggestthatAfter-E?ect maybe ? e?ectiveinreducingalcoholhangover.
