一、课程性质和任务
1.课程性质
本课程是专业的一门重要专业课程。
一 The layout of a business letter
重点:Form and Structure of Business
难点:Structure of Business Letters
教学建议:讲授信函的构成时要用选择案例进行练习,并组织学生针对格式进行实践项目设计。
(二Channels of establishing business relations and how to write/translate a letter on establishing business relations
难点:how to write a letter on establishing business relations;To know how to set the relations with clients and writing way
教学建议:组织学生讨论如何与客户建立业务关系;把信函分解为几部分进行讲授。在讲授时注意要求学生记住常用短语的写法和用法,并利用相应的练习强化学习的知识。
(三 Enquiries and offers
重点:To understand the way of a first enquiry and writing way; To briefly know firm offer and its writing way
难点:how to write a satisfactory enquire and offer
教学建议:首先对例子进行讲解,列出常用的短语。其次分组针对不同询盘讨论并写出英语的询盘和发盘。

教学建议:运用案例讲解各类询盘的还盘;结合问题讲解强化学生对重点知识和难点知识的理解;习题训练与固定词汇的表达相衔接。
