Results: Bothmaternal andpaternaldiabetes resulted inphenotypic changes inwildtype offspring. Phenotypicchanges were more pronounced in male offspring than in female offspring. Maternal hyperglycemia resulted in metabolic and skeletalphenotypesinmalewildtypeoffspring.Decreasedbodyweightandimpairedglucosetolerancewereobservedas werereducedwholebodybonemineraldensityandreducedtrabecularbonemass. Phenotypicchangesinoffspringof diabeticfathersdifferedineffectsizefromchangesinoffspringofdiabeticmothers.Malewildtypeoffspringdevelopeda mildermetabolicphenotype,butamoresevereskeletalphenotype.Femalewildtyp
