The occurrence of the geological haz ards are closely related to rainfall. According to field investigation, debris flow s usually breaks out just on the day w hen intraday precipitation is supreme and how ever , slope hazards such as collapses and landslides usually occur 2~ 5 days later. In this study, 6 geological regions w ere zoned firstly based on landform and li thology. Then their occurrence and rainfall process w ere analyzed respectively and a certain w arning line w as set up according to the rainfall indexes including intraday rainfall and antecedent rainfall. Finally, meteoro logical w arning grade w as confirmed and a series of w arning system including 1 w arning maps w ere estab lished.
