Methods:Scale-upactivitiestookplaceinnineunionsinruralBangladesh.Recruitmentandtrainingofthosewho delivertheintervention,communicationandengagementwiththecommunityandotherstakeholdersandactive disseminationofinterventionactivitiesaredescribed.Processevaluationandpopulationsurveydataarepresented andusedtomeasurecoverageandthesuccessofscale-up. Results:Theinterventionwasscaled-upfrom162women’sgroupsto810,representingafive-foldincreasein populationcoverage.Theproportionofwomenofreproductiveageandpregnantwomenwhowereengagedin theinterventionincreasedfrom9%and3%,respectively,to23%and29%. Conclusions:Examinationanddocumentationofhowscaling-upwassuccessfullyinitiated,led,managedand monitoredinruralBangladeshprovideadeeperknowledgebaseandvaluablelessons. Strongoperationalcapabilitiesandinstitutionalknowledgeoftheimplementingorganisationwerecriticaltothe successofscale-up.Itwaspossibletoincreasecommunityengagementwiththeinterventionwithou
