Methods:High-throughputproteomic,peptidomicandmetabolomictechniqueswereappliedtoinvestigateserum samplesfrom21healthyindividualsand47MGpatientsbeforeandafterQJFtreatmentviatwo-dimensionalgel electrophoresis,matrix-assistedlaserdesorption/ionizationtimeofflightmassspectrometryandliquid chromatographyFouriertransformmassspectrometry,respectively. Results:AfterQJFtreatment,theexpressionlevelsofpeptidesm/z1865.019,2021.128and1211.668of complementC3fincreased(P=0.004,P=0.001andP=0.043,respectively),whilethatofpeptidem/z1739.931of componentC4bdecreased(P=0.043),intheserumofMGpatients.Thelevelsofγ-aminobutyricacid(P =0.000) andcoenzymeQ4(P=0.000)resumedtheirnormalstates. Conclusion:QJFcouldinhibittheactivityofthecomplementsystemandrestorethenormallevelsofmetabolites.
