新闻文化负载词开题报告 开题报告 I Title An analysis of the Translation Strategies of Culturally-loaded Words in A Leaf in the Storm from the Perspective of Relevance Theory从关联角度分析《风声鹤唳》中文化负载词的翻译策略 Ⅱ Aim and Significance With the development of economic globalization,countries communicate with more and more frequently.Cross-cultural communication has become a very important content in people’s life.However, because people from different countries and regions all have their particular environments,religious beliefs,traditional customs,life styles, value concepts,and aesthetic tastes,cultural differences are gradually formed between the countries and regions in the long process of historical development.A large amount culturally-loaded words and expressions are formed.Adopting proper translation strategies to handle such cultural-loaded words and expressions will contribute to cross-cultural communication. Dr.Lin Yutang wrote A Leaf in the Storm mainly to introduce the traditional Chinese culture to the westerners so that they can have a better understanding of China.The novel contains a large amount of culturally-loaded words in his novel. Based on the Relevance Theory,this thesis analyzes the translation strategies adopted in A leaf in the Storm for the translation of cultural-loaded words and tries to find different translation methods to handle different factors. Ⅲ Main ideas This thesis consists of an introduction, the main body and a conclusion.The first part is the introduction,which includes the development of Relevance Theory,Translation and Relevance Theory.It points out that this thesis studies the culturally-loaded words in A Leaf in the Storm from a new angle --Relevance Theory.The second part is the main body,which is made up of the following three chapters:Literature review and Relevance Theory, analysis of the cultural-loaded words from the perspective of Relevance Theory and the study of translation of cultural-loaded words in A Leaf in the Storm.The last part is th
