Abstract
Background:Advancedmaternalage(AMA)isassociatedwithseveraladversepregnancyoutcomes,hencethese
pregnanciesareconsideredtobe“highrisk.”Areviewoftheempiricalliteraturesuggeststhatitisnotclearhow
womenofAMAevaluatetheirpregnancyrisk.Thisstudyaimedtoaddressthisgapbyexploringtheriskperception
ofpregnantwomenofAMA.
